Life is Like

Wake up in the morning
walk around the room
crush the alarm clock
that was 12 hours late.

Stumble over dirty clothes
kiss the floor and
smell the roses...
Potpourri.

Life is like sittin'
in history class.
Or ridin' on the back
of a slow car's ass.

Kiss it and be on my way.
Not lookin'
forward to
another day.

Get dressed anyway
go to school
12 hours late.
No one's there.

Go to Sonic.
Get a coke.
Chew on a fry
and start to choke.

I live my life
a little slow
and if someone cared
it might snow!
