Raven hair and eyes
like oceans. Porcelain
skin, and a smile
that fades and reappears
like the waves.
All this beauty hides
the abyss beneath the
surface. An occasional
tear swells to meet
the sun, exposing
defeat. The dolphin
accompanies the
storm, and rests
with you in the calm.
The pull of the moon is
your compass in life,
leading you forward
or backward. Fear not
to moisten your shores
and let the sun drink
your sadness. There
will be rainbows
after the rain.
